Amazing professor! Really made me feel comfortable to ask question in class. He handled the online learning and teaching fantastic. I would recommend him to all my friends who need to take calc 3.
An excellent professor who wants his students to succeed in Calculus.
Best professor I have had to date. He explains anything from prerequisite classes that we might not remember. His grading and homework system is very effective in making sure we understand the concepts and problem solving without overloading his students with stupendous amounts of homework. I wish he taught statics and Dynamics because right now I regret meeting Nohra or finding out who he is.
Best taught online class I have taken in the year and a half of online classes. Doesn't make it feel like the class is online, still lectures instead of just saying "slides are posted". Explains things well, works through notes and examples during class time. Exams are extremely fair. Great professor :)
Christopher Sze is an excellent professor that is open and interested in students' success. His lectures are easy to follow and understand. Also, the homework after the lectures helped me better to master the material.
Did a very good job when it came to creating the notes which were very comprehensive alongside the lectures. I often had no questions in terms of how to get to each answer due to how well the lecture taught me, and how comprehensive the notes were.
Explained ideas and concepts clearly! Respectful, caring, and overall helpful person. He did his best to ensure that all students understood each concept before moving on, which was helpful. He put thought into the online format, and how information was received by students, and that information was generally well understood.
Explains concepts exceptionally well during class lectures! Great teacher.
Great class thank you for your time!
Great professor, his teaching methods help facilitate the course. I definitely like the way he taught the class.
Great professor, teaches at a great pace, and explains everything very well. Has the best approach to homework of any math class I've had.
He is a very fair teacher. What he gives in class is the same content of the exam. His explanations are good and make sense, if the student have a question he will stop to answer it without a problem. Also, the homework and extra credit exercises are really good to study for the exams.
He is a very good and fun professor
He is the absolute best professor I have had in my two years at USF. The quality of his classes was superb and his teaching style was most beneficial.
He is very passionate about Calculus III. One can tell that he really understands the mathematical content. He will answer questions during class, and leave you with understanding about the question.
He's one of the best professors I have had at USF.
Hes really nice and considerate
I enjoyed the fact that you teach the course by writing the notes alongside us rather than having the notes already printed and just reading them to us.
I thought the course was taught in a very fair manner. All the homework and exam problems were similar to what we were taught during lectures. Also, the lectures were usually pretty fast paced so it never felt like they dragged on.
Is a really amazing teacher and I appreciated that he let us take our test with open notes, and the MANY extra credit opportunities.
Mr. Sze is the best math instructor I have had here at USF. The homework he assigned was not overwhelming, his exams were not impossible, and we could use our notes which I completely agree with.
One of my favorite instructors, I would love to be able to take him as a professor in the future. He was very easy to understand, his class was difficult but he explained so nicely that everything made sense. His teaching method was perfect for me and it was easy to follow. He was very motivating and dedicated to his class. Often checked up on me too.
One of the best Calculus Professors I've ever had. Extremely polite and very helpful. Felt like I truly understood concepts.
One of the best teachers I have ever had.
Please bring it to his attention that he is one of the greatest math-related teachers/professors I've ever had. The way he teaches makes it easier for me to understand each topic that he introduces. His assignments and exams are really easy to pick up on and challenging to their respective topic(s) they cover.
Professor Sze is one of the best Calculus professors I had at USF. He answers on teams within minutes and schedules a time to go over any concerns 1 on 1. His assignments are well explained & the tests reflect the material covered in class. Especially during the pandemic, it is great to see that the professor cares about his student’s success & goes an extra mile to help them succeed.
Professor Sze is probably the best professor that I have ever had so far at USF. He is super nice and down to Earth. He takes the time to understand his students questions and to answer them thoroughly. He stays true to the material that he teaches in class when it comes to tests. This allows us students to be challenged while still having the required knowledge to succeed in his class, which a lot of other teachers struggle to do.
Respectable. He will take time to explain the content if someone misses something and is open to correction when he makes mistakes.
Responds quickly to emails, very clear when teaching and posting notes. I would highly recommend.
The absolute best calculus professors in all of USF. Understands student's needs and teaches the class with respect towards students. Please keep this professor USF, many of the calculus professors do not understand how to teach a difficult course such as this class especially in the time we are in.
The Professor is great. You can feel his passion for the class and it keeps us motivated.
This professor did an amazing job with teaching in an online setting. I went from an F in Calc III last semester to (currently) an A-. The extra practice assignments were very beneficial, as well as the posted solutions for homework. Overall a great course setup, I will absolutely recommend this professor to any other engineering majors(and I already have).
While I suffer a lower grade then other math courses in this class, I have found his teaching style a very solid pace to initiate learning. Through this class I have retained more information than I would have in other classes. Very excellent use of his technology to make teaching more fluent and comprehensive. 10/10
Wonderful professor. Very approachable professor who was willing to help no matter what. Never left anyone in the dark and answered all questions. Always responded timely to Teams chats and emails. Proved superb knowledge of calculus. Very clear with teaching lectures and with what is to be expected as far as exams. Canvas homepage was very organized with contact information and a large date chart to keep track of assignments and class meetings. Home page had live links for easy access to recorded lecture, PDF notes, email, Teams contact. Frequently updated canvas with notifications. Managed remote learning well.
